As System & Utilities Technician, you will have a crucial role in ensuring the operational availability of a wide range of mechanical equipment and systems at BTEC. You will use your technical skills to plan and carry out planned and unplanned maintenance. Performing inspections and repairs with a strong team in your back.
Together with the Facility Management team of BTEC, you will improve the reliability of the equipment and systems to minimize or even avoid unplanned downtime.
What You'll Do
Installation and assembling of systems and equipment
You operate the systems and maintain their normal operation
Maintenance, servicing and repair of machines and systems (Hydraulic, pneumatic, servotronic, sensors)
Review and process new and open service requests
Carry out and document preventive maintenance activities
Identify recurring errors, perform root cause analysis, and suggest countermeasures
Effectively use existing IT and CMMS systems for maintenance and repairs
Work with cross-functional teams and external vendors to solve issues
Follow all occupational safety regulations
Create, update and publish all important reports and key figures
What You'll Bring-
Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician (Mechatroniker) or comparable (automation technician / electronics with strong mechanical experience)

At least 3 years of experience in a technical environment
- Speak and read in German and English

Extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of technical systems and machines (sensors, actuators, drives, control field devices preferred)

Strong technical understanding and the ability to read and understand technical plans, electrical and mechanical documentation
- You are committed, enjoys teamwork and have hands-on approach to work

Solid knowledge of safety standards
- Good proficiency with Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Willingness to support the team in other cross-functional disciplines
