Middle System Engineer:
Within the Aerospace and Defense division, the successful candidate will be involved in advanced systems engineering activities, including testing, validation, and verification of complex aeronautical systems, contributing to high-tech projects in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and leading clients.
The role entails increasing operational autonomy throughout the entire system lifecycle, with direct responsibility for defining solutions, coordinating activities, and managing technical interfaces.
The candidate will actively contribute to defining the system architecture, integrating hardware and software, and overseeing the validation phases, ensuring compliance with requirements, quality standards, and expected performance.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Analyzing and managing the client’s operational and functional requirements
Defining and optimizing the specifications for aeronautical electrical and electronic systems
Leading system and software integration activities
Planning and supervising verification, validation, and qualification activities
Coordinating small teams or work packages, monitoring timelines, costs, and quality
Managing interfaces with internal and external stakeholders (customers and suppliers)
Preparing and conducting project and technical meetings
Drafting and reviewing technical documentation and project reports
Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, quality, and performance
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in systems engineering
Practical experience in multidisciplinary environments and structured projects
Knowledge of:
- aeronautical standards and systems
- requirements engineering
- system and software integration
Solid experience with IBM DOORS or similar tools
Familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies

Contract Terms
Type: German permanent contract
Annual Salary: €71,000 – €85,000
