The Faculty of Medicine is an integral part of the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg and cooperates with the Magdeburg University Hospital A.ö.R. in research, teaching and patient care.
We offer an attractive postdoctoral position in an interdisciplinary research environment at the Institute of Clinical Immunology and Cell Therapy. The position combines molecular immunology, T-cell signaling and cellular immunotherapy with bioinformatics and AI-supported analysis approaches. You will work on a translationally relevant research topic with access to modern cell biological, flow cytometric and protein-biochemical methods, as well as opportunities for scientific development, publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
You will work in a third-party funded research project focused on the analysis and optimization of CAR T cells. Your responsibilities will include the performance and analysis of molecular and cell biological experiments on CAR T-cell signaling, using cell culture, flow cytometry and protein-biochemical methods. You will also contribute to the establishment of CAR-based experimental systems, the analysis and documentation of results, and the preparation of scientific publications and presentations.
- You hold a Master’s degree or an equivalent university degree in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences or a related field
- You should have a strong interest in molecular immunology, T-cell biology and cellular immunotherapy, as well as initial practical experience in cell culture, flow cytometry and/or molecular biological or protein-biochemical methods
- You should be motivated, careful and team-oriented, with good English communication skills

The salary group E13 (65%) according to “Tarifvertrag für den Öffentlichen Dienst de Länder” awaits you.
The position is available immediately, full-time and limited for 33 months.
