The Theoretical Physics Group at Bielefeld University is seeking support in the area of research data management, particularly for the services currently being developed within the PUNCH4NFDI consortium. PUNCH4NFDI aims to promote the sustainable use of research data and the implementation of the FAIR principles in data management for particle physics, astroparticle physics, astronomy, and hadron and nuclear physics. The consortium, which is part of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI), represents more than 30 institutions. Scientists in Bielefeld, in close collaboration with the DESY and Jülich research centers, are contributing to the development of a unique metadata service, the International Lattice Data Grid (ILDG), and are providing metadata from the fields of lattice quantum chromodynamics and radio astronomy.
