The Central Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the company's treasury operations, ensuring optimal cash flow, liquidity, financing activities, and financial risk management across the organization. The role supports business growth by optimizing working capital, strengthening banking relationships, and ensuring compliance with corporate treasury policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity planning.
- Develop short- and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Optimize working capital and cash management processes.
- Manage relationships with local and international banking partners.
- Negotiate banking facilities, credit lines, and financial agreements.
- Monitor foreign exchange (FX) exposure and implement appropriate hedging strategies.
- Oversee intercompany financing and cash pooling activities.
- Ensure timely execution of domestic and international payments.
- Monitor treasury KPIs and prepare regular treasury reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with corporate treasury policies, internal controls, and financial regulations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Procurement, and Operations to improve financial performance.
- Participate in ERP and treasury system optimization projects.
- Support external audits and provide treasury-related documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve treasury efficiency through automation and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Treasury or Corporate Finance.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred.
- International treasury experience is required.
- Previous experience within a Big Four firm is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity planning, banking operations, foreign exchange, and financial risk management.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in English is required; French is an advantage.
