The Team
You will join a dynamic Talent Acquisition team of 40+ colleagues across EMEA. As a Talent Acquisition Manager in Germany, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing and recruitment strategies across business units in Germany, with additional support across other EMEA locations as required.
This is a highly visible role in a strategically important market. You will act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, partnering closely with the business to identify, engage and attract outstanding talent into Alvarez & Marsal. You will play a key role in supporting A&M’s ambitious growth plans in Germany and across the wider EMEA region.
How you will contribute
You will work closely in partnership with the business leaders to identify skills gaps and recruiting priorities across the organisation.
You will develop and deploy candidate sourcing strategies, using your own skills and experience as well as the sourcing tools available to the business and Talent Acquisition team across Europe. This will include, but not be limited to, direct approach, advertisement response, campus recruiting and networking.
You will champion and manage a rigorous screening process, including interviews, appropriate skills testing and referencing.
You will partner closely with hiring managers on their talent requirements, sharing market intelligence on the competition, promoting our employer brand, diversity and inclusion policies, and managing relationships with external search firms and contingent agencies.
You will provide the business with accurate and timely status updates, while organising thorough briefing and preparation sessions to ensure hiring managers are clear on candidate and process status.
You will manage and support all aspects of the offer stage and act as an effective conduit between candidates, hiring managers, HR, Legal and the wider TA team across the EMEA region.
Qualifications
Extensive retained search or proactive sourcing experience, gained within an executive search firm or in-house Talent Acquisition team.
Proven ability to recruit across multiple disciplines and seniority levels, including executive level roles.
Strong German market knowledge and candidate network; wider European experience is desirable.
Skilled in direct sourcing, candidate engagement and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
Experience managing end-to-end, inclusive recruitment processes for complex assignments.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
Highly organised, commercially aware and able to quickly understand new business areas.
Fluent German and English, written and spoken, is essential.
