Here’s what you’ll do:
We are looking for a Procurement Assistant Packaging for our Group Procurement team in Ardooie.
Group Procurement is responsible for the central strategic purchasing/sourcing of a large volume of (frozen) raw materials, services, materials and packaging for all Ardo factories and locations. Within Group Procurement, a specialized team in Packaging is responsible for the pre-press preparation and sourcing of packaging materials including flexible packaging (foils), paper-based packaging and various other materials such as labels, tape, glues etc. Within this team, the Procurement Assistant Packaging will play a pivotal role in the operational support, data maintenance, and follow-up of packaging procurement. The Procurement Assistant Packaging will report to the Group Sourcing Manager Packaging.
The main tasks of the Procurement Assistant Packaging include:
Maintaining purchasing data in group ERP SAP (contracts and price agreements) including supporting the upcoming implementations in collaboration with local & group project teams.
Data expert for the packaging category: ensure the data quality (vendors, articles, purchasing conditions) and responsible for data quality issue resolution.
Executing and supporting the Procurement plans in collaboration with our local replenishers and our suppliers.
Supporting the Buyer Packaging and the Sourcing Manager Packaging in various operational tasks: preparing budgets, cost analyses, reports, quality documentation, internal communication on Sharepoint etc.
International communication with all Ardo locations and suppliers.
Collaboration with Group Supply Chain, Local Supply Chain, QA and Sales/Marketing; this is a central/group role based in Ardooie-BE.
This is where you recognize yourself:
You have at least a Bachelor's degree in a technical, business or economic field.
You have a strong affinity with systems & data management and an advanced level in Excel (pivot tables and graphs have no secret for you). In addition, if you also have experience with an ERP package such as SAP, then this sounds great.
Thanks to your relevant experience and knowledge, you can quickly pick up things and you are a multitasker in the environment of purchasing.
Good communication skills are required as you are in contact with suppliers and the Ardo community
A good verbal and written knowledge level of English is required. French is preferred.
