The Product Marketing Manager for Silicon Photonics (m/f/d) contributes to the development and positioning of X-FAB’s silicon photonics foundry offering, with a particular focus on X-FAB France.
In this role, you will combine market analysis, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to support business growth and strengthen the company’s technology roadmap. You will report directly to the Business & Strategy Director of the Microsystems & Photonics Business Unit.
Your responsabilities :
- Contribute to the development and execution of X-FAB’s strategies to grow revenue and profitability in Silicon Photonics
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by building relationships with customers, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders worldwide
- Manage commercial projects for large-scale, customer-specific silicon photonics opportunities, including coordination of scope, priorities, and stakeholder alignment
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback activities to support business decisions
- Translate market needs into input for technology and product roadmap development in collaboration with engineering teams
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Field Application Engineering teams in supporting customers
- Support key account development activities in targeted Silicon Photonics markets
- Contribute to marketing initiatives together with the Marketing Communications team (e.g. presentations, webinars, and promotional materials)
- Represent X-FAB at international conferences, trade fairs, and industry events
- You hold a master’s degree or an engineering degree with a specialization in electronics, physics, microelectronics, or a related field.
- You have several years of experience in business development, product marketing, or a customer-facing role within a high-tech environment.
- You have knowledge of, or an interest in, photonics, semiconductors, or related technologies; experience in silicon photonics is an advantage but not required.
- You have a good understanding of go-to-market strategies in technical environments.
- You have experience managing customer relationships, stakeholders, and negotiations.
- You have strong analytical skills and the ability to turn technical topics into business opportunities.
- You demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills in English and French.
- You take a proactive and structured approach to work, with the ability to collaborate effectively within international and multidisciplinary teams.
- You are available for international travel.
