Handling national and international tax matters for the corporate group

Preparing tax returns and tax balance sheets
-
Calculating current and deferred taxes in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS, and determining the effective tax rate (ETR)

Supporting quarterly tax reporting and tax accounting, as well as tax reporting obligations (CbCR, Pillar Two, DAC6)

Communicating with tax authorities, internal departments, domestic and foreign subsidiaries, and external tax advisors

Providing support on transfer pricing issues and intra-group financing structures

Analyzing the tax implications of reorganizations, M&A projects, and international business transactions

Participating in the implementation and further development of the Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS)

Supporting the introduction and further development of digital tax tools (e.g., LucaNet)

Monitoring changes in tax legislation and deriving recommendations for action

A successfully completed degree with a focus on taxation or a comparable qualification (e.g., Certified Tax Specialist (m/f/d) or Certified Accountant (m/f/d) with several years of relevant professional experience)

At least 2 years of professional experience in the tax department of an internationally active corporate group, at an auditing/tax consulting firm, or in the tax administration (e.g., as a Diplom Finanzwirt) is required

In-depth knowledge of German corporate tax law

Good knowledge of tax accounting (HGB and IFRS)

Knowledge of transfer pricing is a plus

Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel (knowledge of SAP and/or Lucanet is a plus)

Good written and spoken English skills

Analytical and structured approach to work, as well as strong teamwork skills
