What you will be doing here
At MAGNOTHERM, we are developing a revolutionary refrigeration technology that has the potential to eliminate up to 30% of energy demand and 100% of direct greenhouse gas emissions in the cooling industry. Our vision is to provide the cleanest and most sophisticated cooling solutions to reduce climate impact and costs. Founded in 2019, our deep tech company is a spin-off of the Technical University of Darmstadt.
We are looking for a Marketing and PR Specialist to join our growing go-to-market team and help share our story with a global cooling industry. Reporting to our GTM Lead, you will own press relationships, content, and event logistics, building a working knowledge of magnetocaloric cooling technology along the way.
What you'll own
Communications. Own press relationships and correspondence, from first conversation to published coverage. Draft and manage press releases, embargoes, and launch timelines, and keep a growing pipeline of media contacts ready for the next story.
Content. Write articles, socials posts, and marketing materials that build our voice in the cooling industry. Develop campaigns and build engaging narratives around refrigerant-free cooling, working across print and digital formats.
Organisation. Support with the planning and execution of events, from webinars to trade fairs and activations, own the comms calendar so press, content, and events are well timed. Spot bottlenecks early and act to keep things on schedule.
Knowledge. Build and maintain a working knowledge of magnetic cooling technology, MAGNOTHERM products and the cooling industry — enough to write accurately, stay afloat of industry trends, field routine questions with confidence, and know exactly which team members to refer for the expert detail.
Coordination. Work closely with leadership to keep the internal team informed and updated, speaking with a consistent voice in alignment with the marketing and communications strategy. Coordinate the team to ensure everyone know when and where they are required for events and activations.
