As Technical Service Manager, you are the technical bridge between our customers, service teams and engineering. When a customer has a technical question or a problem with their aircraft, you make sure it gets resolved quickly, correctly and cost-effectively. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where your technical judgment and communication skills directly shape how customers experience Grob Aircraft support. You will own technical queries from first contact through to resolution, work closely with engineering on practical solutions, and help us keep improving how we deliver support.
Handle customer technical inquiries and support requests, making sure each one is resolved on time and to the right quality and cost.
Analyze technical issues and work with engineering and internal teams to develop solutions that actually work in the field.
Act as the main point of contact for technical troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Document and track queries, investigations and resolutions through our established systems.
Keep support cases moving, follow up where needed and close them within agreed service levels.
Spot recurring issues and suggest process improvements that make support faster and better.
Back up Sales and Account Managers with technical expertise during customer conversations.
Maintain records of technical discrepancies and help build our technical knowledge base.
Work across engineering, sales, customer support and service teams for smooth issue resolution.
Contribute to improvement initiatives around technical support and service delivery.
At least 6 years in a Help Desk, Technical Support, Engineering or similar customer-facing technical role.
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Technical Studies, Aircraft Maintenance or an equivalent qualification.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems.
Excellent written and spoken English.
The ability to juggle multiple priorities, requests and stakeholders at once.
A structured, organized and detail-oriented way of working.
Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry.
Working knowledge of Teamcenter and SAP.
Additional languages, especially Spanish or French.
Experience developing technical solutions alongside engineering teams
