YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We're looking for an experienced, proactive, and people-focused HR Manager EMEA to join our Human Resources team in a full-time, permanent position based in our Munich office.
In this role, you will help shape the employee experience across our EMEA region by delivering exceptional HR operational support throughout the employee lifecycle. Working closely with colleagues across multiple countries, you will build trusted relationships, drive engagement initiatives, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our HR processes and programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with employees and managers across our EMEA offices, specifically as a key HR contact supporting our Munich office.
- Provide guidance to shape local HR policies and employment practices, ensuring compliance with German labour law and supporting HR processes across the region.
- Own and continuously enhance the onboarding experience for all new employees across EMEA, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and high-quality introduction to Altman Solon.
- Manage and further develop the EMEA Internship Programme, ensuring an outstanding experience for interns throughout the entire programme while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Deliver high-quality HR Operations support across the employee lifecycle, including employee queries, visa and work permit processes, promotion and reward cycles, and other day-to-day HR activities.
- Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives across the EMEA region by partnering with employee resource groups and helping deliver regional diversity programmes.
- Contribute to Employer Branding initiatives and internal HR communications to strengthen employee engagement and enhance Altman Solon's employer value proposition.
- Support and lead HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the HR team and wider firm as required.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Progressive HR experience within an international organisation, supporting both local and regional stakeholders.
- Good understanding of German employment law; exposure to HR practices across other European countries would be helpful.
- Previous HR experience in an HR advisory capacity and/or within HR Operations across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Good judgment and discretion; ability to manage highly sensitive situations and information effectively and professionally;
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with a collaborative and service-oriented mindset.
- Analytical mindset with experience working with HR systems and reporting.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
- Flexibility to collaborate across multiple European time zones when required.
- Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field is an advantage.
