Our Green Energy and Climate Finance team is looking for a Financial Project Manager (m/f/d) in full or part time (30 to 38,5 hours/week) starting from September 1, 2026.
Your tasks:
- Financial management and administration of a large Green Energy and Climate Finance capacity building project in Mexico, Brazil and Nigeria funded by the German Climate Initiative (IKI)
- Guidance and financial controlling of the internal project team and local implementing partners in Mexico, Brazil and Nigeria according to IKI guidelines
- Supervision of all project related tender processes and procurement documentation
- Preparation of financial reports for IKI
- Audit ready documentation of all disbursements.
Your Profile:
- University degree or comparable qualification related to financial management and/or controlling
- Professional experience in financial management and controlling of donor funded projects for at least 5 years
- Very good spoken and written English (C1)
- Good command in German (B2)
- Spanish or Portuguese would be of advantage
- Good knowledge in MS Office software
- Interest in renewable energy and green energy finance
- Ability to work in a team, as well as on your own.
