Responsibilities:
- Work closely with research and development team to test new software releases
- Operate AUV platform to perform test for internal use, demos to potential clients and perform survey missions
- Monitor AUV performance during missions
- Assist with or plan project operations for the safest approach with maximum efficiency utilizing given assets
- Keep accurate reports of tests and surveys, providing feedback on system performance to help further development
Requirements:
- Understanding of robotic systems
- Knowledge of ROS/C++, Python
- Familiar with software version control (GIT)
- Understanding of underwater systems
- Understanding of underwater acoustic systems
- Understanding of electronics and mechatronics
