Based in Erlangen, Germany, as an Inside Sales Engineer supporting our Central Europe Sales Team, you’ll engage with customers on diagnostic and testing solutions across the full range of energy-system assets, contributing to their technical performance and strategic development. What's it all about?
- Support the sales team in commercial and technical inquiries
- Work closely together in a team of Sales Managers and Customer Sales Support
- Support the sales team in physical and digital customer interactions (e.g. (online) product demonstration, social selling, LinkedIn…)
- Manage individual direct sales tasks (Lead Management, Opportunity Management, depending on demand within the team)
- Qualify leads and conduct first outreaches
- Be a trusted advisor for our customers and their needs
- Act as sparring partner for a strategic development of dedicated sales areas.
- Work with reporting and strategic development tools: MS Dynamics 365 CRM, PowerBI Analytics, Cloud and AI Tools...
- Drive and support dedicated marketing and communication activities
- Participate and support planning of exhibitions, conferences and user meetings
- Act as knowledge provider and important interface within the organization
- Provide customer feedback within the organization
What are we looking for?
- A technical background in electrical engineering
- Experience in the electrical energy industry is beneficial
- Proficiency in digital tools and a willingness to explore new techniques (e.g., social selling)
- Fluent in German and a good command of English
- Strong communication skills and a passion for customer interaction
- A proactive and organized approach to work with the ability to prioritize tasks
Willingness to travel within Central Europe (up to 20%)
