A lovely family based in Munich is seeking an experienced and energetic Rota Nanny to join their household on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off basis, available ASAP.
The family has four children — boys aged 3 and 5, and girls aged 8 and 9 — who are happy, healthy and in good routines. Childcare is a team effort with mum, and the nanny would not be expected to manage all four children alone. The eldest is independent and horse-mad, the middle two are active and enjoy after-school activities and sport, and the youngest loves being part of the sibling gang. The household also employs a chef, housekeeper and security team, and previous nannies have stayed for 4 and 2 years respectively — longevity is important to this family, and the current nanny is happy to speak with interested candidates.
Responsibilities of the Rota Nanny in Munich, include:
- All nursery duties (excluding cooking and laundry)
- Putting children’s laundry away and keeping bedrooms tidy
- Sharing childcare responsibilities as part of a team with mum
- Driving the children in Europe as required
- Accompanying the family on travel during most school holidays, including skiing in winter (own skiing ability not required)
- Supporting during the family’s busy June–July travel period (a second nanny is also engaged during this time)
- Experienced, energetic and highly organised Rota Nanny
- EU passport holder (preferred)
- A confident driver, comfortable driving in Europe
- Sporty, active and enjoys the outdoors
- A strong team player
- Experience working within a busy staffed household (beneficial, not essential)
- Flexible to travel with the family during school holidays
Rota basis: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off. Daily hours to be confirmed with the family.
Munich, Germany, with international travel during school holidays.
£70,000–£75,000 gross per annum.
