Description of the position:
DIGITALL Nature Germany GmbH is looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join our Legal DACH team. You will support day-to-day legal work in a technology-driven business, with a strong focus on commercial contracting, corporate matters, and compliance topics relevant to IT consulting and technology services.
Working closely with business stakeholders and senior legal colleagues, you will help ensure that our internal processes and external agreements remain compliant and business-friendly across multiple jurisdictions in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) and the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
This is your job:
- Draft, review, and help negotiate national and international commercial agreements in DACH (e.g., NDAs, MSA, DPA, vendor and partnership agreements);
- Prepare legal research, analyses, and practical guidance on technology-related laws and regulations (including data protection topics);
- Support corporate legal matters for local and international group entities in DACH (corporate governance documentation and internal procedures);
- Provide day-to-day legal support to internal stakeholders to enable business objectives while managing risk;
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the EU, and relevant CEE/DACH jurisdictions; summarize changes and recommend actions where needed;
- Maintain accurate and well-structured legal documentation (contract repository, templates and compliance records) to support transparency and audit readiness;
- Participate in internal and cross-border projects, coordinating with external counsel when required and escalating complex issues to senior legal team members.
Your Qualifications:
- 1. and 2. Staatsexamen or comparable qualifications;
- At least up to 1 year of relevant legal experience (in-house or law firm), preferably with exposure to commercial contracts and IT law matters;
- Good understanding of contract law and commercial law; familiarity with labour law is a plus;
- Ability to read, analyse, and summarize legal texts and translate them into practical guidance for non-legal stakeholders;
- Fluency in German and English;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with GDPR/privacy compliance, information security, or technology regulation;
- Experience with contract templates or contract lifecycle processes;
- Interest in IT consulting and Labour law.
