YOUR TASKS
As a Senior DSP Algorithm Engineer (m/f/d), you will design and implement advanced digital signal processing algorithms for next-generation automotive radar systems.
Your focus lies on high-performance, real-time capable radar signal processing chains deployed on modern Radar-SoCs and multi-core architectures. You will take full ownership of algorithm development — from mathematical concepts to optimized embedded implementations.
Artificial Intelligence is a key pillar of this role: you will develop and integrate data-driven and hybrid approaches that complement classical signal processing methods and drive the evolution of advanced radar systems.
-
Design and develop advanced algorithms for digital radar signal processing for embedded software, ensuring scalability and real-time capability
(e.g., high-resolution parameter estimation, interference suppression, and detection) -
Develop and integrate AI / Machine Learning approaches to complement classical signal processing and improve robustness and detection performance
-
Port and optimize radar algorithms on new Radar-SoC platforms, considering runtime performance, memory constraints, and multi-core processing
-
Develop and enhance internal analysis and debugging tools to support algorithm validation and system understanding
-
Collaborate closely with project management, radar system design, requirements engineering, and testing teams within an interdisciplinary development environment
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
-
University degree in technical discipline such as electrical engineering, physics, computer engineering, or a related field
-
Strong background in digital and statistical signal processing, with a solid understanding of estimation theory
-
Strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, ideally applied to radar or sensor data
-
Several years of experience in embedded software / algorithm development (C/C++) for real-time systems, ideally in advanced driver assistance systems
-
Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python for algorithm development and prototyping
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical topics and work effectively in international teams
