The Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics Berlin (ZAS) is a nationally and internationally well-networked non-university
research institute and a member of the Leibniz Association. It investigates the biological, cognitive and social aspects
of human language ability and its expression in individual languages and combines theoretical and applied research.

We are looking for interns to support the project
“Oral language and literacy of Greek-German bilingual children”
(m/f/d)
Depending on the agreement, internships can vary in length (from one week to 2-3 months or a semester). They are not
remunerated, but may be recognised as research internships at universities.
As an intern, you will be involved in ongoing projects and supervised by researchers. You will gain experience in
conducting studies, conferences and workshops, work with data and take part in events. You will sometimes work
independently on selected tasks. You will gain an in-depth insight into the work of the research department and other
areas of the Leibniz Centre for General Linguistics.
Internships are aimed at students of linguistics, patholinguistics, educational studies, German studies, and other related
disciplines. Very good knowledge of German is required. Knowledge of Greek would be desirable but not required. In
addition, a high level of initiative and goal-oriented, structured work as well as good communication and organisational
skills and a high sense of responsibility are required.
