Your Mission:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior High-Voltage Airborne Electronics Engineer (all genders) to design, develop, and validate high-performance power control and conversion hardware. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in power electronics design, component selection, simulation, PCB design, testing, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and cost-effective power solutions.
Your Day-to-Day:
Design and develop power electronics hardware including power distribution & protection units, solid-state power controllers and DC-DC converters.
Capture requirements and manage them systematically in a traceable way.
Create schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs for power electronic systems.
Perform circuit analysis, simulations, and design optimization (thermal, EMI/EMC, efficiency, reliability).
Select and qualify power components such as Power MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC/GaN devices, magnetics, and passive components.
Lead prototype build, bring-up, debugging, and validation testing.
Conduct failure analysis and implement design improvements.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards (UL, IEC, ISO, etc.).
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, procurement and quality teams.
Support production ramp-up, manufacturing test development, and field issue resolution.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and design reviews.
