We are seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead and elevate our visual identity across all platforms. This role combines creative expertise with strategic thinking, guiding design projects from concept to execution. The ideal candidate is a visionary designer with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of brand strategy, and the ability to produce high-quality, innovative visuals that resonate with our audience.
The Senior Graphic Designer will be part of the in-house design team and create visually compelling content across various platforms, including digital, print, and social media. This role is ideal for someone with expert knowledge in design principles and a passion for visual storytelling—a creative all-rounder.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and execution of creative projects across digital and print, including branding, campaigns, social media, websites, packaging, and presentations.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, PR and digital teams to translate objectives into visually compelling concepts.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Present creative concepts and designs to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, quality, and creative standards are met.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and emerging technologies to innovate and elevate creative output.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic creative planning.
- Design for all Design Hotels events: digital invitations, on-site print collateral, spatial design.
- Collaborate directly with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior designers.
EXPERIENCE & MINDSET
- Strong design skills with expertise in typography, layout, branding, logo design and research.
- Good knowledge of design for digital and print media.
- Expertise in image curation is a must, as most of Design Hotels creative work revolves around storytelling and combining photography.
- Keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to take direction and feedback.
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Structured and independent way of working.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to grow within a collaborative team.
- Industry Expertise: Remain on top of emerging brand and design trends, technologies, and techniques.
- Consistently growing your knowledge to keep your creative work innovative and fresh.
- Passion for culture, design, hospitality, travel, and art.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in agency or in-house settings.
- Strong portfolio, branding, and multi-platform design expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD) and other relevant design tools.
- Expertise in UI/UX design, motion graphics, and web design
- Experience with After Effects or Premiere Pro is a huge plus.
- Proficiency in Canva and Keynote.
- Languages: English, other languages a plus.

This position is a maternity cover and is offered on a one-year fixed-term contract.
