The requirements for this position are:

A university degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Epidemiology, or a comparable qualification
- The ability to conduct independent scientific research, demonstrated for example—but not exclusively—through a doctoral degree and scientific publications
The following qualifications are desirable:

Strong methodological skills and advanced knowledge and experience in statistical data analysis
- Experience in conducting and coordinating field studies
- Experience in acquiring third-party funding
- Experience in the field of dementia or other chronic diseases
The Interventional Health Services Research Group (Thyrian Lab) is one of the central research units at DZNE Rostock/Greifswald and is part of the Clinical Research and Health Care Research program across the entire DZNE.
The group's research focuses on topics including:

Early diagnosis of dementia in outpatient care (timely diagnosis)
- Concepts to improve the care of people living with dementia (Dementia Care Management, including cross-sector care)
- Research on vulnerable populations (e.g. people with a migration background)
- Participatory approaches
- Support and relief for family caregivers
- Evaluation of dementia plans
The group's work includes descriptive analyses, the development of innovative models of care, their implementation, and the evaluation of their efficacy, effectiveness, and efficiency. A key objective is to translate successful approaches into routine healthcare practice.
Scientific work and the dissemination of research findings explicitly involve relevant healthcare stakeholders as well as the general public.
