For our PMCC (Power Management & Control Components) business unit and GONet Germany, our multi-site service and sales network, Eaton is looking for a committed and experienced HR Business Partner (m/f/d) – GONet (Multi-Site Manufacturing) for Germany.
Your Mission:
As HRBP for GONet, you will operate at the centre of a complex, multi-site manufacturing network, partnering with leadership teams and Works Councils to deliver both operational excellence and sustainable transformation.
As a member of the Eaton Germany Country HR team, the role requires balancing day-to-day HR delivery in a highly regulated, co-determined environment with proactively shaping and contributing to the people agenda across the country, including employee experience, engagement, workforce capability, and organisational effectiveness.
A critical success factor is the ability to build trusted, transparent, and forward-looking partnerships with Works Councils, ensuring compliance while enabling business agility.
1. Strategic Business Partnering
- Partner with GONet and site leadership teams to translate business strategy into practical, forward-looking HR plans
- Act as a key advisor on labour models, productivity, and organisational effectiveness across the network
- Support delivery of GONet transformation initiatives (e.g. footprint changes, centralisation, capability shifts)
- Use workforce data (absenteeism, overtime, attrition, productivity) to drive fact-based discussions and decisions
2. Works Council Partnership & Co-Determination
- Build credible, trust-based relationships with Works Councils across all GONet sites
- Act as a key interface ensuring early, transparent, and structured engagement on all relevant topics
- Support, lead and coordinate information, consultation, and negotiation processes in line with local regulations
- Partner with business leaders to develop pragmatic, mutually acceptable solutions balancing operational needs and employee interests
- Ensure consistency of approach across sites while respecting local frameworks and agreements
- Anticipate potential risks and proactively shape narratives and engagement strategies
3. Operational HR Excellence
- Ensure high-quality, compliant HR delivery across all sites, including:
- Employee relations case management
- Absence and attendance management
- Performance and talent processes
- Workforce planning and staffing
- Safeguard adherence to collective agreements, labour law, and internal policies
- Contribute to and drive standardisation and simplification of HR processes across Eaton Germany, contributing to high quality audit-ready systems
Embed robust workforce data management processes.

4. Employee Experience & Engagement
- Contribute to and drive a consistent Eaton Germany and GONet employee experience, aligned with operational realities
- Lead engagement agenda (surveys, action plans, leadership accountability) with visible outcomes
- Strengthen frontline engagement and employee voice, including integration with Works Council structures
- Champion initiatives on wellbeing, inclusion, and communication transparency
5. Workforce Capability & Future Readiness
- Support development of a future-ready workforce aligned to GONet strategy:
- Skills mapping and capability gap analysis
- Cross-training and multi-skilling initiatives
- Succession planning for critical operational roles
- Partner with leadership and Works Councils on reskilling/upskilling pathways, especially in the context of automation and network optimisation
6. Process Optimisation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive lean and efficient HR processes aligned with GONet operating principles
- Partnering with country HR colleagues, identify and implement opportunities for digitalisation, standardisation, and service improvement
- Collaborate with Country HR, HR CoEs and HR Services to enhance end-to-end employee and manager experience
- Embed a continuous improvement mindset, linking HR initiatives to operational performance
7. Change Management & Communication
- Lead the people side of GONet transformation and change initiatives
- Develop and execute clear, consistent communication strategies across sites
- Ensure alignment between leadership messaging and Works Council communication channels
- Support leaders in navigating complex change with confidence, transparency, and consistency
- Proven HRBP experience in complex, unionised manufacturing environments
- Strong track record of Works Council engagement and negotiations
- Experience supporting multi-site or network-level transformations
- Ability to manage both operational HR delivery and strategic initiatives simultaneously
