We have offices in Berlin and Munich, and we work in both German and English
The role
We are Storybook Studios, home to big stories and their storytellers. We produce a huge amount of material, and most of it never gets seen unless someone turns it into something. That someone is you.
Your job is to take one asset and make twenty : trailers, teasers, cutdowns, vertical clips, stills, quote cards. This is a hands-on, production-near role, you sit at the edit, not just at the brief. And where something's missing, you fill the gap yourself: you're hands-on with AI tools and produce your own content to round things out.
The strategic direction (campaign structure, positioning) comes from the Marketing Lead; you bring it to life and put it in front of people.
Who this is for: a fast, self-directed maker with a real eye for what works on social.
Who it isn't for: someone looking for a pure concept or creative-director seat. This role is about volume and craft, made well and made quickly.
What you'll do
- Repurpose long-form into short-form — turn full films and scenes into trailers, teasers, cutdowns, vertical clips, stills, and cards
- Edit it yourself — you own the cut on clips and short formats, hands on the timeline
- Design the supporting graphics — thumbnails, social templates, text overlays, and cards, made clean and on-brand
- Tailor to each channel — what lands on YouTube dies on Instagram, and you know the difference
- Run the content calendar — plan releases, keep the cadence, stay on top of every asset in flight
- Tend to the community — handle comments, build the audience
What you bring
- Strong command of an editing tool (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve) — shown through your own work, not just your CV
- Working graphics skills
- A genuine instinct for storytelling, pacing, and what performs on social
- An organized, independent way of working — assets and deadlines, all in motion, all under control
- Platform fluency (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) from the maker's side, not just as a user
Nice to have
- Experience with AI tools for image and video variations
- Some exposure to film, festivals, or creative industries
- Motion-graphic basics
