A thermal management engineer is a key operator in developing a thermal model for our prototype pod. The position also includes the development of a heat management strategy in a vacuum environment. Additionally, you will cooperate with other great teams and departments and perform CFD simulations regarding the heat transport.
- Enrolled in master studies in mechanical engineering, physics or simulation sciences
- Interest and knowledge about thermodynamics and heat transport
- CFD software knowledge (e.g.,STAR-CCM)
- CAD skills (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks)
- high reliability and availability
- good communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- high self-initiative
- Knowledge about MATLAB and Simulink in an advantage
- living in Aachen
- good knowledge of English and German
- required work load: ~ 8 h/week
