About the role
Ensure the follow-up and development of existing business flows with BBVA Frankfurt clients (mainly large German groups).
Identify and generate new Trade Finance transactions with clients with the constant aim of optimizing profitability for the bank while controlling risks.
Within the GTB Frankfurt team, the incumbent will be required to offer clients all the products handled within the department, including: working capital solutions (factoring and supply chain finance), documentary credits, guarantees and standby letters of credit, structured trade finance products.
Report to the Head of GTB Frankfurt and to the GTB management in Madrid.
Proactively follow up clients by identifying their needs and providing them with the most appropriate advice and solutions (Advisory approach).
Promote a sustainable approach to finance with clients, in line with the bank's strategy.
In close dialogue and coordination with the Coverage team as well as with the support departments (back office, legal, compliance, risk, etc.), the incumbent will have to structure trade finance operations, obtain all the required authorizations and ensure the perfect execution of the transactions he/she has generated, in compliance with the Bank's policies.
The GTB Frankfurt team operates in "Agile" mode, the incumbent will need to quickly gain a good knowledge of all GTB products in order to achieve a high level of versatility with the other team members.
Qualifications
Experience
Proven commercial experience in Trade Finance and Working Capital solutions, with at least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably serving large corporate clients.
Experience working with Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) would be considered a strong advantage.
Strong understanding of the German Trade Finance market and the broader global financial landscape.

Specific skills
In-depth knowledge of Trade Finance products (Guarantees, Receivables Finance, Letters of Credit, Bonds, Forfaiting, Supply Chain Finance).
Specific experience in the Non-Banks Financial Sector would be a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (in particular Excel and Powerpoint) in order to produce client pitches and activity reports.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
Strong understanding of credit, country, and operational risks
