Théodor Brasserie is our modern French brasserie in Berlin-Charlottenburg, located in the former Mommseneck on Mommsenstraße. The restaurant brings new life to a historic City West location and combines French brasserie cuisine, selected wines, warm service and a lively, elegant atmosphere.
The goal for Théodor is to establish a successful all-day dining destination in Berlin City West, with services gradually developing from breakfast and lunch through to dinner. We are looking for people who enjoy quality, structure and teamwork — and who want to help shape a young restaurant as it grows into a strong hospitality address in Charlottenburg.
The Role
We are looking for chefs who take pride in their section, enjoy the rhythm of a busy service and want to be part of building a strong kitchen culture at Théodor. People who are precise without being stiff, ambitious without ego, and calm when the restaurant is full.
As Chef de Partie, you will support the execution of Théodor’s French-inspired brasserie menu and take responsibility for your section during preparation and service. You will work closely with the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs to ensure consistency, quality and smooth kitchen operations.
The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to stay organised and focused in a busy restaurant environment.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in a similar role in high-quality, busy kitchens- Strong cooking skills, product knowledge and confidence during service
- Ability to manage your section independently during preparation and service
- Experience with mise en place, meat, fish, sauces, garnishes and plating
- Consistent execution of recipes, portions and presentation standards
- Calm, clean and organised working style under pressure
- Good understanding of classic techniques and interest in French brasserie cuisine
- Awareness of quality, food costs, waste reduction and product handling
- Clear communication with kitchen, expeditor and service team
- Knowledge of HACCP, hygiene and health & safety standards
- Reliable, punctual, hands-on and team-oriented
