As a Working Student Strategic Procurement & Cost Analysis, you will support the procurement team in evaluating cost structures, purchasing data, and supplier quotations. The role contributes to informed decision-making in procurement, material management, and cost optimization. Working in an international environment, you will collaborate with various stakeholders and support both strategic and operational purchasing activities.
YOUR TASKS
As a Working Student Strategic Procurement & Cost Analysis, you analyze cost structures of Nordex control cabinets using bill of materials data from SAP and Excel
You perform ABC analyses and evaluate material consumption, warehouse structures, packaging concepts, and lot sizes
You analyze purchasing and price developments regarding volumes, order frequencies, and market trends
You support make-or-buy analyses to enable strategic procurement decisions
You prepare and create PowerPoint presentations to support management decision-making
You request, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations based on relevant commercial and technical criteria
You support operational procurement processes from prototype sourcing to pre-series purchasing and maintain pricing and condition data in SAP
YOUR PROFILE
You are currently enrolled in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study
You have strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Initial experience with SAP is considered an advantage
You demonstrate an analytical mindset and a strong affinity for working with numbers
You work independently, in a structured manner, and with a high level of accuracy
You have strong teamwork and communication skills and enjoy collaborating in an international environment
You have advanced English language skills and ideally initial experience with digital tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or think-cell
