- Development responsibility for superstructures add on components (e.g. folding steps, mudguards, access ladders) across the entire product portfolio

Definition and integration of position sensors

Organisation of experimental set-ups, supervision of implementation and processing of results

Detailed design of individual parts, creation of assemblies and documentation of these in the PDM system

Independent further development of the responsible components with regard to product costs, quality, manufacturing processes and standard requirements

Creation of component descriptions, operating and maintenance instructions

Independent co-operation with international suppliers

Co-operation with all operating departments on technical issues

Collaboration in the area of product development with the Brescia, Premstätten and Chambéry sites

Completed studies (M.Eng./B.Eng. or similar) in the field of mechanical engineering with a focus on automotive engineering, construction technology or similar

More than 5 years of professional experience in vehicle construction

Solid knowledge in the fields of mechanics and materials technology, esp. sheet metal part design and machining technologies

Solid knowledge of 3D design software, preferably Solid Works

Solid knowledge of FEM calculations

Business fluent in written and spoken English

Knowledge of agile project management
