In this influential role, you will be a key member of our Indirect Procurement team, reporting directly to the Group Manager of Indirect Procurement at Gigafactory Berlin. Your expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and project management will play a critical role in supporting Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.
What You'll Do-
Lead procurement, contract, and supplier management activities for key indirect categories to drive Tesla's growth and operational excellence.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including market research, tendering processes (RFx), total cost analyses, and contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to ensure performance, service continuity, and compliance with ESG and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders from EHS, Operations, Engineering, HR, Finance, and Sustainability to define requirements and drive procurement excellence.
- Identify and implement cost savings, process efficiencies, and risk mitigation measures through continuous improvement and demand management.
- Monitor market trends and innovations, and identify new partners, technologies, and solutions that can improve service quality or environmental performance.
- Act as a change agent, promoting procurement best practices and supporting internal stakeholders during category transitions or new sourcing models.
- Support contract lifecycle management, including negotiating SLAs, ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements, and managing performance review cycles.
- Leverage data and digital tools to create transparency, track KPIs, and enable informed decision-making.
- Contribute to broader procurement transformation initiatives, such as digitalization, sustainability strategies, and supplier diversity programs.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on indirect spend categories.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing with a track record of cost savings and efficiency improvements in indirect spend areas.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable sourcing strategies.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment with shifting priorities.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, lead cross-functional projects, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to build relationships and influence outcomes.
- Fluent in German and English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with responsible sourcing principles and a commitment to sustainable procurement practices.
- Work location: More than 80% on-site presence at our Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg in Grünheide (Mark), with occasional travel to supplier locations.
