We are currently expanding our MIPA team and are looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers, including at least one senior-level professional. In addition, we seek an experienced Design Engineer to take ownership of engineering data, BOM management, and engineering standards.
Coordinate design and development projects for mobile robotic systems
Design and develop drivetrain systems for mobile robotics platforms (motors, gearboxes, kinematics, dynamics)
Perform stability calculations and structural/mechanical analyses
Ensure production-ready design (Design for Manufacturing – DFM), considering manufacturing processes and cost targets
Create and maintain complete technical documentation and bills of materials (BOMs)
Structure, prioritize, and deliver development tasks on time within a cross-functional team
Collaborate closely with manufacturing, electronics, and software engineering teams
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, ideally with a focus on robotics
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, including several years in (mobile) robotics
Strong expertise in drivetrain design: motors, gearboxes, kinematics, and dynamics
Solid experience with stability and strength calculations
Proficiency in SolidWorks (experience with PDM is a plus)
Familiarity with DFM/DFA methodologies and production-oriented design practices
Experience in a leadership role or with project responsibility is advantageous
CAD Tools: SolidWorks / SolidWorks PDM (preferred), Creo / Windchill
