What if the impact of your role extended beyond a job title?
Not through marketing spin. Not through vague "purpose-driven" messaging. But through software that helps industrial companies understand, manage and actively reduce their environmental impact.
That's what Tanso is building. And it's one of the reasons people join us.
To drive forward our entrepreneurial initiatives with speed and decisiveness, we are looking for a Founder's Associate (f/m/x). Tanso prides itself on moving fast once opportunities arise or the need to act becomes clear. Some of these opportunities take action where there is no owner yet; they’re too new, too cross-functional, or simply too urgent to wait for the right team to have capacity. That's where you come in.
As a Founder's Associate, you'll join a small team working directly with our Chief of Staff Cedric, CEO Till and management team on the things that shape the future of the company. You'll be deployed where the leverage is highest: launching a new module, building the business case that decides whether we enter a new market, organizing the next offsite or closing the next financing round. We've done this before. We're now building a team that can do that repeatedly.
This is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial role for candidates who take initiative and get things done. The reward is unusual exposure: you'll sit in the rooms where decisions are made, and you'll be judged on whether the thing you owned actually worked and brought the business forward.
Where this leads: the role is designed as a launchpad. After around 12-18 months, you will move into either a lead role in a topical business function or a strategic role such as Chief of Staff – depending on where you have shown the most traction and where the company needs you.
We're a diverse group of people, and that diversity is what makes us great. We bring unique perspectives to everything we do and are always eager to learn from each other. We work in cross-functional teams to tackle ambitious challenges, actively seek feedback and be the best versions of ourselves.
