What to Expect
In Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg the trailer yard is a corner stone of material supply with the „Warehouse-on-Wheels“ Delivery concept.
You will become part of the Inbound / Trailer Yard Team and drive the planning, implementation, configure and continuous maintaining of material flow system solutions at GIGA Berlins supply chain organization. The successful candidate is a self-starter and can manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time and coordinate these with different stakeholders. This role requires working closely with Intralogistics Departments, IT, and other departments, as well as external transport partner to drive projects to success.
What You'll Do-
Maintaining the internal Material Flow System to resolve bugs and drive optimization on a system level with main focus of Inbound and Trailer Yard flows

Develop, configure and improve all physical and virtual material flows from a system perspective by identifying and trouble shoot existing issues

Develop and implement solutions for new processes and changed requirements for the current supply chain processes

Optimization of existing processes and systems under consideration of lean productions / logistics approaches as well as further implementation of automation and AI integration

Definition of processes and flows in close collaboration with operational teams on Inbound and Intralogistics side, with a deep understanding of system capabilities and impacts affecting material flow systems master data.

Creation & follow-up of project implementation

Managing your projects, budgets, and the connected timelines

Planning and conceptualize needed changes in close collaboration with development teams and other stakeholders.

Support decision making with solid data basis by creating own KPIs and Dashboard solutions together with all Inbound stakeholders
What You'll Bring-
Bachelor´s Degree in Business Engineering/Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent

2+ years of relevant working experience, ideally in a logistic environment

Good understanding of transport strategies and logistic supply chains in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Experience with digital material flow system infrastructures or comparable

Strong understanding and experience in the usage of Phyton and SQL
-
Advanced proficiency in the entire Microsoft software suite

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Very good written and spoken English skills (C1+)

Good written and spoken German skills (B2+) are preferred

Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt and improvise with a solution-oriented mindset

You have a drivers license (B)
