Overall p urpose of the Job
In this role, you will support Account Officers in managing and developing relationships with Japanese corporate clients. You will assist with customer account administration, ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, including KYC procedures, and support the day-to-day banking needs of clients. By working closely with internal stakeholders and customers, you will help deliver excellent service and contribute to the efficient management of client accounts.
The role includes the following:
Assist with lending activities, including short-term and long-term loans, trade finance transactions, foreign exchange, derivatives, and overdraft monitoring.
Support deposit-related business, cash management solutions, cash pooling services, and domestic and international payment transactions.
Prepare, review, and process applications, instructions, transaction documentation, and other customer-related requests.
Monitor and maintain customer data, documentation, and account information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Support the management of guarantees, letters of guarantee, and other client commitments, including monitoring key maturity dates.
In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:
Experience in banking, financial services, or a related environment, with knowledge of corporate banking products and services.
A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience will also be considered.
