The Helmholtz International Beamline for Extreme Fields (HIBEF) is looking for a Scientific Employee (f/m/d) as a parental leave cover.
- Preparation and support of experimental HIBEF setups for user operations on the HED-HIBEF instrument at EuXFEL, specifically laser shock compression and associated diagnostics.
- Completed university studies (Master) in the field of Physics or related field
- Relevant professional experience in the fields of high-energy science and laser physics
- Excellent communication skills, particularly when providing user support
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner
- Excellent written and spoken English
