As part of our global Project Logistics Engineering team based in Hamburg HafenCity, you will contribute to the safe and efficient execution of complex transport projects worldwide. With a strong focus on FEM analysis, you will support the development of engineering solutions, help reduce technical risks, and collaborate closely with international teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Developing, maintaining, and implementing technical standards to optimize project execution and reduce operational risks.
- Performing cargo securing calculations and designing safe transport solutions across all modes (road, rail, sea, air).
- Creating detailed engineering documentation including 2D/3D CAD designs, stowage plans, and lifting concepts.
- Conducting structural analysis (FEM) and stability calculations to support complex transport and installation operations.
- Coordinating route surveys, feasibility studies, and site assessments to ensure technical viability of projects.
- Collaborating with global stakeholders including project teams, sales, HSE, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless execution.
- Supporting on-site operations, supervising activities, and conducting pre-shipment inspections.
- Developing journey management plans and selecting suitable equipment based on technical and operational requirements.
- Driving knowledge transfer and promoting best practices across regions and teams.
- Contributing to sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement of engineering processes
- Degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in Project Logistics Engineering, ideally within complex international environments.
- Strong expertise in load securing and transport engineering
- Practical experience with CAD tools (2D/3D) and FEM software such as Ansys or RFEM.
- Solid understanding of structural analysis, physics, and transport-related engineering principles.
- Strong project management and process optimization capabilities, with a focus on operational excellence.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills in an international environment.
- High customer orientation combined with a data-driven and solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English; strong communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel globally and support operations on-site.
