Role Summary:
Procurement Manager (m/f/d)
Drive strategic procurement across Hyundai Motor Europe. As Procurement Manager, you lead regional sourcing initiatives, optimize supplier performance, and deliver sustainable cost efficiencies while ensuring compliance, governance, and operational excellence. Acting as a trusted business partner, you collaborate across functions and markets to strengthen procurement capabilities and create long-term business value.
We want you to:
Lead large-scale sourcing initiatives and procurement projects across the region, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Develop and implement procurement strategies focused on cost optimization, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation
Build and execute supplier strategies, including supplier selection, evaluation, performance management, and consolidation initiatives
Manage strategic supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement through long-term partnerships
Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFQs, negotiations, contract management, and supplier onboarding
Negotiate commercial agreements to achieve optimal financial and operational outcomes
Identify, assess, and mitigate procurement, contractual, financial, and supply risks in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Partner closely with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and National Sales Companies, providing procurement expertise and best-practice guidance
Monitor procurement spend, analyze cost trends, and identify savings opportunities across purchasing categories
Ensure supplier contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements
Contribute to the continuous development of Hyundai Motor Europe's procurement function, standards, and governance framework
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field
8–10 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Purchasing within an international environment
Proven track record leading complex sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract management processes
Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and procurement governance
Solid understanding of commercial and financial principles with the ability to assess business impact and drive value creation
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across all organizational levels
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strategic, results-oriented mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic environment
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
