You are a full time student (d/f/m), looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of a Configuration Manager? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in Configuration Management as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!
You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.
Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

End-to-End Data Mastery: Learn and map the data journey starting from generation in PDM tools to consumption in our Skywise (Big Data) environment.
Data Modeling: Perform sophisticated data modeling to represent complex aircraft configurations accurately.
Business Analysis & Specification: Interact with business focal points to gather requirements. You will use your functional CM knowledge to translate these needs into technical specifications for yourself or a small development team.
Data Engineering: Develop and implement robust data pipelines using SQL and PySpark.
Health & Monitoring: Maintain the integrity of our data products, ensuring continuous monitoring and reliability of datasets.
AI Integration: Apply your Machine Learning fundamentals to real-world industrial problems, proactively adopting AI tools to optimize daily activities.
Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) in a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
Technical Stack:
Proficiency in SQL and PySpark.
Solid understanding of Big Data systems and architecture.
Strong fundamentals in Machine Learning.
Basic knowledge in Generative AI and LLMs.
Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, ability to translate "Business speak" into "Tech speak," and a proactive curiosity for aviation.
Languages: Good level of English (daily professional use) and German knowledge would be beneficial.
