The position is offered on a fixed term basis from the earliest possible start date until 31 July 2027. The position is part-time (65 % of the regular working hours) with salary and benefits commensurate with a public service position in the state Hesse, Germany (TV-H E 13, 65%).
The third-party-research project ÜGEFTT focuses on the development of THz-based sensor technology for monitoring freeze-drying systems. The project is carried out in close collaboration with an industry partner.
- Development and construction of encapsulated prototypes based on innovative 300 GHz transceivers
- Integration of the prototypes into the partner’s laboratory facilities
- Test measurements to demonstrate performance
This is a fixed-term project position. The contract is not concluded under Section 2(1) of the German Academic Fixed-Term Contract Act (WissZeitVG).
- MSc-degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of microwave technology
- Experience with FMCW systems as well as knowledge of relevant simulation software are advantageous
- Programming skills in a high-level language are an advantage
