Senior Marketing Manager – Cloud DACH Public Sector

Contract Length and Working Hours: 12 month contract and 40 hours a week

The Role
Algomarketing is hiring on behalf of a Global Enterprise SaaS organisation seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing for the DACH Public Sector.
The role will focus on strengthening AI perception, generating high-value demand and building engagement with priority government accounts.
The successful candidate will own the end-to-end marketing strategy for the public sector vertical, supporting government departments as they modernise public services and adopt new technology.
Responsibilities / Role Specific Context
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the DACH Public Sector
- Increase AI perception and generate demand among C-level executives, IT decision-makers and developers
- Lead targeted account-based marketing programmes for priority government departments
- Create tailored narratives that address departmental challenges and transformation goals
- Partner closely with Public Sector Sales leadership and Government Affairs and Public Policy teams
- Align marketing activity with business priorities, pipeline targets and lead follow-up
- Plan and deliver high-impact proprietary events
- Manage targeted third-party sponsorships
- Oversee external agencies and vendors
- Ensure campaigns and events are delivered to a high standard and within budget
- Build market presence around Smart Data and AI, Security, Sustainability and Digital Sovereignty
- Support wider DACH marketing initiatives
- Contribute to regional summits and account-based marketing programmes with a Public Sector focus
- Collaborate with teams supporting Central and Eastern Europe and the Nordics
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Proven B2B marketing experience within the Public Sector or Government vertical
- Experience delivering account-based marketing programmes
- Experience developing marketing strategies for enterprise-level accounts
- Experience managing external creative agencies
- Experience managing event vendors and third-party partnerships
- Experience delivering large events with tailored industry content
- Native-level German

- Knowledge of central government departments
- Knowledge of public-sector procurement frameworks
- Understanding of public-sector digital transformation agendas
- Proven experience aligning marketing strategies with sales objectives
- Track record of supporting pipeline and revenue growth
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence Sales leadership
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Policy teams
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product teams
- Experience marketing complex cloud solutions
- Experience marketing AI and data solutions
- Experience marketing security solutions
- Experience engaging C-level executives and IT decision-makers
