- 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
- You find joy in planning and discussing software infrastructure
- You’ve built production-grade apps with JS/Typescript
- You’ve built production-grade apps in Go
- Experienced with AWS (or other cloud providers)
- Familiar with at least one of the following database technologies: MySQL, Redis, Mongo
- You love being in the office and collaborating with your teammates
Your tasks
- Continuously improve and scale our backend services
- Orchestrate and maintain our infrastructure on AWS
- Maintain and develop our in-house CMS — the engine behind the app
- Work with the feeds of Opta, our main data provider
- Ship updates through our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Diagnose and solve technical issues with care and precision
- Take responsibility for long-term code quality, including refactoring sessions
- Collaborate across teams to build features that millions of football fans use
