To support our Human Resources department, we are looking for an HR Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) for our office in Travemünde, Germany.
The area of responsibility includes:
- Preparation, coordination and processing of monthly payroll for seagoing personnel and shore-based staff
- Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with applicable legal, tax and social security requirements
- Maintenance of HR master data and support with administrative HR processes
- Continuous review and optimization of payroll and HR administration processes
- Acting as a contact person for payroll-related and administrative HR matters
- Coordination of selected facility management topics
- Preparation and submission of subsidy applications
- Communication with internal departments, external service providers, authorities and other relevant stakeholders
Your profile:
- Completed commercial or administrative vocational training, or a comparable qualification or degree
- First professional experience in payroll, HR administration or a comparable area of responsibility
- Good understanding of payroll processes; knowledge of German wage tax, social security and employment law is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- High level of reliability, discretion and confidentiality
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
