Description
As a Senior Art Director, you will lead the creative vision and execution of high-impact projects, ensuring the highest level of creative excellence and brand consistency. You will work closely with a Creative Copywriter and other members of the Creative Department to develop innovative ideas for multi-channel campaigns, adhering to project schedules, and overseeing the completion of project executions for print, digital, websites, printed collateral, and presentation graphics. We are looking for a visionary leader who can inspire the team, create compelling concepts, and drive the creative process from ideation to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
Art Direction Competencies:

Lead the development and execution of creative strategies, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives

Generate original creative ideas and concepts to fulfil the client's brief, producing sketches, storyboards, or scamps to communicate ideas

Oversee the final deliverable quality, ensuring the highest level of creative excellence and brand consistency

Create conceptual branding concepts and designs, print ads, digital ads, website pages, social media campaign executions, trade show displays, and other collateral

Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and business partners on materials design and execution
Leadership and Professional Competencies:

Maintain regular, high-level communication with the Creative Director and senior leadership, aligning on project vision and contributing to strategic discussions

Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, offering clear, constructive feedback, and guiding team members in both formal and informal settings

Mentor junior members of the team, fostering a constructive and creative work environment

Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas that push creative boundaries and elevate the quality of the final product

Qualifications / Experience

A degree-level qualification or proven creative experience working in an advertising agency

6+ years of experience as an Art Director or Mid-weight Art Director in a similar agency environment

Exceptional information presentation (visual and written) experience

Highly proficient in design, typography, retouching, video, and motion

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

Solid experience in working across a range of web layout/digital design projects

Positive and collaborative attitude, with own team, wider organization, and external collaborators

A deep passion for branding, content, and creative storytelling
-
Strong artistic and creative abilities, with a keen eye for design and typography

Strong creative POV with an understanding of business objectives

Thorough knowledge of relevant and latest industry trends and practices

The flexibility to adapt ideas to suit client expectations and their feedback efficiently

Passion, enthusiasm, and integrity for producing outstanding creative work

Fluent in German and English
