Your Role
As a Field Service Engineer (all genders) you will be affiliated with our Dresden office while providing field service support to customer sites across Germany and, when required, throughout Europe. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production material systems used in semiconductor manufacturing. These systems enable the production of chips found in technologies such as smartphones, LEDs, and flat-screen TVs. You will ensure the reliable operation of gas and chemical distribution systems, blending equipment, critical monitoring, and life-safety systems while delivering excellent customer service. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, technical troubleshooting, and accurate service documentation, while providing practical solutions for equipment operation and configuration. This position requires up to 85% travel and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Who you are

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another technical discipline

2+ years of experience in the semiconductor, chemical or other manufacturing setting is an advantage

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret technical documentation

Experience in performing preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and documenting service activities

Committed to quality, safety, and following established procedures and escalation processes

Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work independently and remotely; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German

Physically able to perform the essential duties of the role, including lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces

ISO 9000/9001 awareness or knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes is an advantage; A valid passport and driver’s license with a clean driving record (past 36 months) are required
