- Conception, development, design and dimensioning of systems/features (interaction of various assemblies and components), including e.g. software coordination, MMI user guidance as well as definition of processes and further routines such as cleaning
- Conception, development and design of assemblies and functional modules of fully automatic coffee machines from the initial idea through to series implementation
- Continuous improvement and optimization of assemblies, components and processes
- Collaboration within development teams (hardware and software) and all related departments in the field of professional coffee machines, as well as with suppliers and external service providers, including schedule tracking
- Performing functional analyses (mechanical, mechatronic, software processes, etc.)
- Performing risk assessments/analyses/evaluations on assemblies
- Performing failure analyses of mechanical and mechatronic systems
- Compilation and supervision of requirement specifications for systems and assemblies for (external) processing
- Completed degree in mechatronics, precision engineering or a comparable field of study
- Several years of experience in the development/design of complex mechatronic products, including time and budget management
- Experience in the design and engineering of parts manufactured using a wide range of production processes, with high technical and/or visual requirements
- Experience in coordinating tasks within a team
Experience in 3D design, preferably with Solid Edge
Confident application of GPS (Geometrical Product Specification)
