We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Manager (m/f/d) to lead the technology, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and IT governance activities of a global PE Firm operating under the supervision of regulators such as CSSF, BaFin and other authorities.
The successful candidate will ensure that the technology environment remains secure, resilient, compliant and cost-efficient while supporting the firm’s continued growth and international development.
The Firm operates across five offices located on three continents and supports a hybrid workforce. The role requires balancing strategic leadership with a pragmatic and hands-on approach within a lean organizational structure. The successful candidate will oversee a relatively small international IT function while coordinating external service providers and technology partners to deliver secure, scalable and efficient services across the Firm.

Key responsibilities

Define and execute the global IT strategy.

Define and execute the global cloud strategy, ensuring secure, scalable and cost-efficient use of cloud services across the organization.

Manage infrastructure, cloud environments, networks, workplace technologies and cybersecurity.

Oversee cybersecurity across a multi-jurisdictional operating environment, including five offices located on three continents and a hybrid workforce.

Ensure secure remote access, identity management and endpoint protection for employees operating in a flexible working environment.

Lead the global cloud governance, security architecture and cyber resilience initiatives.

Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of DORA and related regulatory requirements.

Oversee IT governance, operational resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery frameworks.

Manage relationships with IT vendors, managed service providers, software vendors and cybersecurity partners.

Challenge suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure high service quality and cost efficiency.

Prepare and manage the IT budget with a pragmatic approach focused on value creation and cost optimization.

Act as the primary IT contact for regulators, auditors and risk management functions.

Lead a lean IT organization and coordinate external service providers across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring efficient delivery of technology services throughout the Group.

Translate strategic decisions from Group Management into operational execution and ensure delivery by internal teams and external providers.

Drive technology transformation and process improvement initiatives across the Firm.

10+ years of experience in senior IT leadership roles within Asset Management, Private Equity, Alternative Investments or Banking or other regulated financial institutions

Proven experience working within regulated environments and interacting with authorities such as, CSSF, BaFin, AMF and Other European regulators
