A fast-growing AI energy intelligence startup is looking for a Founders' Associate / Chief of Staff to work directly alongside the founding team. This is a high-impact, generalist role that blends hands-on outbound enterprise sales, strategic project ownership, and operational support — all aimed at accelerating go-to-market growth across the DACH region.
The company builds an AI-powered platform that helps industrial and energy-intensive enterprises optimize their energy procurement and consumption. You'll be joining at an early stage, with the opportunity to meaningfully shape the company's direction, processes, and culture.
This role is on-site in Munich approximately 4 days per week.
Build and maintain a strong enterprise sales pipeline across DACH in close partnership with the founders.
Drive outbound execution — cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach — with tailored, insight-driven messaging.
Refine ICP definition, targeting strategy, and value propositions based on market and prospect feedback.
Produce high-quality sales materials including decks, one-pagers, follow-ups, and business cases to improve conversion rates.
Join discovery calls to surface customer insights and translate them into sharper positioning and messaging.
Act as an extension of the founders on strategic and operational topics, including investor updates and reporting.
Lead high-priority special projects end-to-end — market research, partnerships, and internal initiatives.
Support marketing content and event preparation (newsletters, social media, event messaging).
Rapidly develop expertise in energy markets and the product to feed improvements across sales and product.
Operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and continuously iterate on team processes.
Must-haves:
3+ years of experience in enterprise sales, outbound demand generation, or top-of-funnel pipeline building — specifically in the DACH region.
Proven track record owning projects end-to-end and acting as an extension of a founding team in a startup environment.
Experience preparing investor updates and key business materials; comfort collaborating on investor relations.
Hands-on experience building and managing enterprise sales pipelines and running outbound prospecting in DACH.
Ability to create and deliver sales enablement materials (decks, one-pagers, business cases) and tailor messaging using market feedback.
Proficiency with tools such as Notion, Google Workspace, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Knowledge of energy markets — or a demonstrated ability to learn them rapidly and translate insights into sales and product improvements.
Strong startup mindset: grit, ownership, and comfort with ambiguity.
Fluency in German (essential for DACH market engagement).
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in energy sector partnerships or procurement contexts.
Familiarity with MEDDICC or similar enterprise sales methodologies.
Corporate background is welcome when paired with a hands-on, ownership-driven attitude.
This is an on-site role based in Munich, Germany, with approximately 4 days per week in the office. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Salary: $60,000 – $90,000 USD annually (or local equivalent)
Early-stage equity opportunity at a well-backed, high-growth startup
Direct access to and mentorship from the founding team
Broad ownership across sales, strategy, and operations — rare at this level
Work at the intersection of AI and the energy transition in a rapidly evolving industry
