Working Student – E-Commerce Operations: Warehouse, Shipping & Customer Service (m/f/d)

About us
APC is a growing online retailer for industrial spare parts and printing machinery components. We run our own shop and also operate the spare parts shops of machine manufacturers — customers from Germany, Europe and around the world order from us every day. Our team is international and we work in English. We are looking for students to become a permanent part of our daily operations: inbound, shipping and customer contact. Not a project — the running business.
Your tasks
- Inbound: Receive new parts, check them, take photos, register them in our system and put them into stock
- Shipping: Pick orders, pack them securely, create shipping labels and get parcels out the door
- Customer service: Answer e-mail requests about availability, delivery times, shipment status and returns
- Order processing: Handle orders in our shop and warehouse system, create invoices and delivery notes, clarify open questions with the team and suppliers
- Think along: Flag anything odd (wrong stock levels, missing photos, unclear parts) and help us improve our processes step by step
What you bring
- Enrolled student (m/f/d) — any field of study
- Reliable and careful: with spare parts, what counts is that the right part reaches the right customer, well packed
- Friendly and clear in written communication — you answer customer requests independently
- Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus, not a requirement
- Comfortable with computers and web tools; experience with a shop, warehouse or ticketing system is a bonus, not a must
- Physically fit for warehouse work (carrying parts, packing)
- Regular availability: fixed days per week, ideally over several semesters
