Savage X Fenty is looking for an experienced and highly adaptable Merchandise Planner to support our growing EU eCommerce business on 12-18 month contract.
This role requires a strong planning foundation, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, evolving business. You will play a key role in forecasting demand, managing inventory, optimizing Open-to-Buy, and partnering cross-functionally to support profitable growth across the European market.
The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and proactive—someone who can confidently manage competing priorities, anticipate challenges, and translate insights into action.
This position reports to the Director, Planning – Europe.
Own annual, seasonal, and monthly merchandise plans across the EU eCommerce business
Develop demand forecasts and Open-to-Buy plans aligned to sales, inventory, and margin objectives
Monitor sales, sell-through, inventory levels, and weeks of supply to proactively identify risks and opportunities
Recap business performance against plan and reforecast sales and inventory on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
Partner closely with Merchandising, Marketing, Production, Operations, Finance, and Global Planning teams to align plans to business objectives
Develop inventory and promotional strategies to maximize productivity while maintaining healthy stock levels
Analyze category, product, and size-level performance to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory efficiency
Communicate forecasts, business recaps, and recommendations to cross-functional partners and leadership teams
Maintain accurate reporting and support ad hoc analyses that inform strategic decision-making
Identify opportunities to improve planning tools, reporting, and business processes
Bachelor’s degree with 3–5+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning or Inventory Management
Experience supporting eCommerce businesses, preferably within apparel, fashion, or consumer products
Strong understanding of Open-to-Buy planning, forecasting, inventory management, and retail math
Deep understanding of key planning metrics including sales, gross margin, inventory turn, sell-through, and weeks of supply
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and follow-through
Strong communication skills and ability to build effective cross-functional relationships
Experience collaborating across international teams and stakeholders is preferred
