We are seeking a Proposal & Solutions Director to be part of the European Proposal Management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support business growth for the Work Dynamics business. Proposal Management is a high-performance team of business development strategists focused on elevating Sales deliverables and in turn, improve win rates, increase revenue, and positively differentiate the firm. It is a key strategic and high-visibility role in the function, which calls for a high-energy professional with excellent strategic-thinking and creativity as well as strong writing, analytical and collaboration skills. Key Clients and targets are international corporates.
This role will also work closely with subject matter experts across JLL’s wider Work Dynamics platform including technology, workplace experience, sustainability, engineering, workplace operations, and many others, to design and present tailored solutions that demonstrate a deep understanding of client objectives and business strategy.
This position will be based in Germany and will work closely with Work Dynamics teams across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region as well as internationally. It calls for a high energy, proactive individual who can work independently as part of a team.
What this job involves:

Work with Sales leaders to lead and coordinate the development of winning outsourcing solutions for prospective clients

Partner with key Work Dynamics stakeholders (business lines, service lines, account teams, pursuit teams and SMEs) through the bid process to execute on strategic sales opportunities which include but not limited to prospecting, RFI, RFP, presentation and contracting

Develop a thorough understanding of JLL’s broad capabilities to meet client needs, recognising opportunities to offer the client value adds which solves problem statements or pain points

Coordinate the development of a custom team to build staffing models, detailed savings glide paths, technology offerings and specific outcomes that our clients will use to evaluate JLL within their selection process

Champion proposal best practice, ensure alignment to internal processes, collateral and content to improve efficiency and consistency in approach to proposals

Comfortable liaising with Senior Leadership and challenging thinking with well thought our points/suggestions

Working with Leadership to define and ensure compliance with internal governance processes

Support execution of the knowledge management strategy

Regular reporting on pipeline activity including opportunities, risks and threats

Mentor and leverage Bid Support function in India

Develop a bid programme and identify necessary resources

Create bid strategies, identify, capture and develop win themes

Understand competitive landscape and seek to positively differentiate bid offer

Submit consistently high quality, customer focused tender responses within allocated time frame

Coordinate internal and independent reviews in line with bid programme

Work with creative teams to enhance visual impact of tender responses / presentations

Strong educational background – degree / professional qualifications preferred

Minimum 7 years of experience in solution and proposal management preferably within the facilities management, real estate, or project management industry

A strong operational background in real estate, or operations and/or experience supporting the Sales/RFP process at a regional level. Ideally, you should understand solution design concepts like gearing ratios and organisational design

High energy levels and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Track record of exceptional performance and ability to manage many competing demands

Ability to manage multiple work streams with demanding time pressures with a proven track record of success

Excellent project management skills and strong organisational capability

Adaptable, able to present with gravitas and build client relationships (internal and external)

Ability to communicate effectively (oral, written and presentation), coupled with strong influencing skills – particularly at a senior level

Confident in client facing and board level situations

Commitment to collaboration and teamwork

Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and work under pressure

Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
-
Excellent oral and written English and German – additional languages beneficial

Willingness to travel.
